The Berwyn Historical Society and Berwyn Public Library hosted a free lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, on the history of stained glass found in Berwyn’s bungalows.
Area artists Sarah King lectured about the almost lost art of angel guilding and Cec Hardacker offered tips and held a demo on how to restore and preserve stained glass. King, an Oak Park-based artist, owns Stained Glass Ltd. and has created several stained glass pattern books. Hardacker, a Berwyn resident and co-owner of Forest Park’s Two Fish Art Glass, specializes in custom work and restoration.
