A very special presentation is planned at the Berwyn Historical Society building 1401 Grove Ave., on Tuesday, July 24, at 7:30 p.m.
Alan Cutcher, President of the USS John W. Weeks (DD-701) Association, will be here to present a program on Bruce Biggar, formerly a Berwyn resident, who was killed in action near the end of World War II.
Mr. Cutcher has done extensive research on Seaman First Class Bruce Ormand Biggar, who received the Silver Star award posthumously from President Harry Truman in 1946.
