Come visit us at the Berwyn Historical Society Museum, located at 1401 Grove Ave. The museum is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and features a rotation of fascinating exhibits and displays that showcase the city’s history. Come out and see our latest exhibit: “How We Gather” — a collection of pieces highlighting the many gathering places, groups, societies, and movements that Berwyn has hosted over the years. Admission is always free!

The Berwyn Historical Society Museum is home to thousands of local artifacts — ranging from our city’s earliest newspapers, to items of clothing, photographs, advertisements, maps, early building materials and pieces of facade, signage, art, and much more. Donations to the historical society help us provide safe keeping for these items, as well as maintain the museum and ensure the public has access to these collections.
Current Exhibit: “How We Gather”
Currently on display at the museum is the “How We Gather” exhibit — a collection of items highlighting the numerous gathering places, groups, and movements that have taken place in Berwyn. These acts of unity have helped shape Berwyn’s sense of community throughout history, as well as its present and future. The collection includes artifacts from restaurants and festivals, cultural and ethnic societies, Girl Scout troops, and even current day happenings such as the local Black Lives Matter movement.
